The International American Section is reading The Giver by Lois Lowry this year. Today, the students made 3D pumpkins to explore what they’ve learned so far. Each pumpkin had one side for the description of a favorite character from the book, another side describing the setting, another for the important plot points read so far, and a last side for one of the major themes explored in the book and in class.
It was a great way to summarize what we’ve learned and to celebrate Halloween before the holidays!
